A print-ready file is the final version of your book (interior or cover) that meets all technical specs required by printing platforms.
For print interiors, it should be:
- A PDF file with embedded fonts
- Correct trim size, margins, and bleed
- No crop marks (unless requested)
For covers:
- A PDF matching exact dimensions (including spine width)
- High resolution (300 DPI)
- Barcode space if required
A mistake here can cause rejections or printing issues. Always review the proof before publishing.
