A barcode contains your book’s ISBN and pricing info, and is required for retail scanning.
For print books:
- Barcodes go on the bottom right corner of the back cover
- KDP and IngramSpark can auto-generate one during upload
- Or, you can create your own using barcode generators linked to your ISBN
If you supply your own, make sure it’s high resolution and correctly placed in your cover design template.
